He’s still getting email updates when I change anything. I changed the email on my profile and can’t figure out how to get him out of the loop. Is anyone here familiar with this issue, and any solution?
When I took over the site, I saw that the user name couldn’t be changed and that I *could* change the email for the account. Should I have transferred the account somehow? I’ve taken over sites from clients rather than another developer.
I’ve been managing less than a dozen sites for almost five years, but I’m just getting started trying to expand my WordPress savvy.

Make sure you have Admin account not editor or other role.
