I’ve used the LeadConnector Plugin to add a chat widget to my client’s site as it was necessary at the time. This plugin connects the GHL chat widget to the site using its API. However, we’ve since implemented a different chat method. Despite my efforts to remove the previous chat, I’ve been unsuccessful. Even after removing the plugin or disabling the chat through it, it still shows up on the homepage.
I’ve attempted to stop the JavaScript script from loading through a third-party script managing plugin, but it doesn’t seem to catch the script loading. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

have you cleared the cache ? All caching types ?
Do you use CLOUDFLARE ? Have you cleaned the cache there ?
Do you use MemCaching ? Have you cleared the cache there ?
Did you clear the cache on your browsers and mobile browsers ? (That is a big one ) Make sure you learn how to also clear the cache on mobile browsers like iPhone and desktop browsers as well.

This sounds like the chat function is included via a method like including the script in a footer file/or headers and footer plugin implementation or widget area. Drop a URL, let’s see if we can help isolate where to look.
