Hello all,
I manage a couple sites using the free version of Fluent Forms. I noticed on all the sites we are getting a major spike in spam form submissions, either selling SEO work, graphic work, social media, backlinks, etc. Some are trying to “buy” my social tags (less than 1k followers) and some say I have “errors” on my site they can fix. All fishing I know.
Has anyone else noticed this uptick in spam?
Any solutions or safeguards?
Thanks

This is normal, unfortunately. I haven’t used Fluent Forms before but most form builder have ways to block spam like honey posts, recaptcha integration and keyword blocking.
Other highly effective tools to block spam are a plugin “Cleantalk”, and country blocking using Clourflare WAF rules.
Fluent Forms supports Turnstile. Enable it for your forms. If you have budget, looking into OOPSpam.
