H againTuomas,
if I understand your question, the text based answers requires the exact same text to be entered into the box as one of your answers (more on the below). Although you can use sentences as answers, I do not recommend it because of the many ways a user could type that same sentence, making marking difficult.
Each question in HD Quiz is worth a single point. Text based answers can only accept one answer. So if your question has multiple possible answers, a user can only submit one. I think something like the “Select all that apply” question type might be better geared towards what you need. The question is still worth a single point, but the user needs to correctly select all the correct (and none of the incorrect) answers in order to be awarded the point.
Also, just a bonus regarding the Text based answers — it is compatible with stemming. Stemming is when you accept variable answers (or answers that begin with x) .
EXAMPLES:
If you make the question have “dog” as the correct answer, then the user needs to enter “dog” to be correct. If they enter “doggy”, that is not correct.
However, if you enter “dog*” as the correct answer, then HD Quiz will accept “dog”, “dogs”, “doggy”, “dogged” etc as correct answers.
