  1. In about 90% of our (similar) issues with Elementor, when we update all the plugins, Theme and WP – such issues are gone.

Therefore, I would suggest you to update all, increase PHP memory (if needed) up to 512 MB or 702 MB, and increase PHP version to at least 8.2, if you have some older version on your hosting.

PS Before making any changes to your site, including deactivating/installing the new plugins, updating existing plugins/theme, testing snippets/code, … you should first backup your site to be on the safe side: [https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/7-best-wordpress-backup-plugins-compared-pros-and-cons/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/7-best-wordpress-backup-plugins-compared-pros-and-cons/) (e.g. I use All in one WP migration plugin primarily, but alo SaaS BlogVault and my hosting’s/SiteGround backup system).

  2. You can try these two methods:

Method 1: Enable Switch Editor Loader

    1. From your Dashboard, navigate to Elementor > Settings.
    2. Click on the Advanced tab.
    3. In the Switch Editor Loader Method dropdown, select
Enable, then click on the Save Changes button.

Method 2: Disable Plugins to Identify Conflicts

    1. Manually disable plugins one by one.
    2. Check which plugin is causing the conflict that prevents you from editing the header and footer using Elementor.
