Is it possible to use your plugin on a headless site where the front end doesn’t have access to a dashboard or database?
The site runs from the strattic.com servers and when I asked their support about this they responded with the below:
When it comes to CleanTalk, I am not sure it could work out of the box. If this plugin needs access to the dashboard and database, in that case it is highly likely this won’t work on static replica websites. Therefore, I suggest contacting this plugin developers and make inquiry if there is any option for this protection mechanism to be embedded to static websites without relying to the dashboard.
Just keep in mind that any plugin relying on database access is limited on Strattic since your live website is static replica of your WordPress website with the dashboard and the database being detached. Therefore, if the plugin needs access to fetch some API key or anything from the database, it won’t work since the database is not available on static websites…
Just wondering (hoping) if you have any other version which might work?
