Help, changing the resolution of an image alters the scale of the whole page

[ad_1]

Hi, I am new to WordPress and site building in general so bear with me. I’m making a site and I’ve noticed that blank template pages are differently scaled compared to the pages I’ve decked out. So I began changing a bunch of settings to see what is causing this and I found it. The image block, with the resolution setting of “full” or “large” literally alters my whole entire page. I will set it to one of those options, and the scaling of EVERYTHING changes, no exaggeration. The header and footer elements shift over, other blocks are adjusted. It’s not a huge adjustment, but 100% noticeable on the header and footer (which is supposed to be the same per page). I’ve tested a little more and found empty Stack blocks with a minimum height of 71vh > also changes the scale (???) Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?

Can’t provide a link to the site right now as it’s not public, only being locally hosted.
