I am trying to build my first website. A website focused around a niche like dog toys or something like that. The goal is to earn some money from affiliate links to products and practice my wordpress skills haha.
I am an online marketeer and for my company we use hubspot to build our site with basic drag and drop elements. I know pagespeed isn’t everything and content is king, but i would like to at least dont let page speed drag the website down.
So i have found theme’s like astra are fast loading theme’s. Of course every add on slows the site down. But I also see people recommend using Elementor builder with the free hello theme to start from scratch.
So would you guys reommend using elementor builder with a theme like astra or just use elementor pro with the free hello theme. I dont know much a bout code, so any customizations to a theme cost time for me. I also looked at Webflow, but the learning curve seems a bit too high for a first time.
Oh yeah I also never used wordpress in my life, so im learning as i go. Any suggestions are welcome 🙂
