Help Needed: Purchased a Domain in GoDaddy and torn between cPanel and Managed WordPress plan.

I need some advice on purchasing the right hosting plan for a WordPress website. Here’s the situation:

My client asked me to create a website in WordPress. They already bought a domain name through GoDaddy and gave me access to their GoDaddy account to set up and install WordPress. However, I realized that they only purchased the domain name without a hosting plan.

Now, they’ve asked me to purchase the necessary hosting plan using their GoDaddy account. I’m torn between the shared web hosting plan and the managed WordPress hosting plan. Can anyone here share their insights on which plan would be better?

Additionally, I know that when you purchase a hosting plan, there is usually a free domain for a year. Since my client has already purchased a domain name, is there a way to link the domain they already bought to the new hosting plan I will purchase through their GoDaddy account?
