Hello,
I’m trying to create a calculator for my company’s website. I have an Excel Sheet that completes all the calculations necessary. It uses a variety of Excel functions (IF, AND, OR, VLOOKUP, MATCH, INDEX).
Essentially, what I am envisioning is that the user would be shown 6 inputs (variety of text boxes and drop down boxes). From there, they would press submit and 10-12 outputs would be displayed.
In a perfect world, there would be a functionality to take those 12 outputs and populate them into a PDF document at designated locations to produce a document that would be emailed (if the user opted in with an email address). Kinda like an auto Mail-merge that uses those outputs.
Can somebody advise if this would be possible and if so, with which plugin? If we can’t use excel to run the calculation, that is okay. But we do need to have comparable functions that we can use so that the calculator functions the same / better as if it was in excel.
So far, I’ve seen a few plugins that could be in the correct ballpark.
EZ Form Calculator: [https://wordpress.com/plugins/ez-form-calculator])
Calculated Fields Form: [https://wordpress.com/plugins/calculated-fields-form])
Formiddable Forms (Open to Using Pro if necessary): [https://wordpress.org/plugins/formidable/])
