I’ve installed Free WP-Optimize, ran optimization, cache enabled, and compressed 500 images. Compressing images was eating up o lot of my CPU resources (from C-panel) and was taking time.. smushing initially 30 images in less than 10 minutes then there was a drag to 44 images after 2 hours. Unfortunately i closed the browser. Looking at it the next day… its still is eating up much of my resources ( Resource Limit Is Reached: The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later).
So I read one thread to rename WP-Optimize to something else at WP-Content/Plugin to maybe deactivate that plugin. That didnt work. I tried going thru Php admin – wp-options to deactivate all plugins – BUT, I could see #33 activate plugins. Any ideas what to do? Appreciate the help.
