Hi all, I have a client who hired my company to build a new website on WordPress. Seems pretty easy right? Here’s the problem: Their current website is build on ProcessWire. We need to export the entire site and import it into WordPress in an organized way that doesn’t take weeks or months to sort through. The client’s current site is a jumbled mess. It has 6 main pages, over 400+ child pages, 320+ blogs, and we have a deadline to finalize this entire thing for the launch in 6 weeks.
My question is two-fold. #1: is there an easy and organized way to export their current site and import into WP? #2: We already picked out and agreed on a theme for the client, do we need to import everything before or after we import the theme?
Our goal is to avoid having to manually copy/paste all the content, from all the pages, with all the current SEO optimizations. We just don’t have the time or manpower to pull it off before the deadline.
