Marketing manager at a firm. I have a pretty good understanding of the WP dashboard but I can’t figure out where or how to update our logo in the header. I’d like to solve this without hiring someone external if possible.
I’ve tried every option under theme options including all widgets. There is no header option under the Customize menu but there is “branding”… changing the logo here does nothing.
It is worth nothing that the logo changes location and size from the home page to all other pages. Not sure if that is relevant.
Would love a clue or two on where to start looking to find the right area of the dashboard to fix this.

I would start with using the inspection tool within the browser of your choice. Depending on the theme it maybe hardcoded and this would at least give you an idea if that is the case. As well, are you able to mention what theme the site uses?
It’s probably as a picture in the header. So you need to edit the header.
