How big of an effort is migrating a ~300 page site?

[ad_1]

I work for a small company trying to migrate to a CMS. We have a simple website with about 300 pages. Most of it is simple text based content. A few embedded graphs and charts. We want to use an established design system.

Am I crazy to think this is something one person or a small team could knock out in a few months? They’re trying to hire an expensive agency and I feel like they’re about to get ripped off. Am I way underestimating the complexity?

  1. I would need to actually see the site and gather more details to give you any sort of accurate quote. You can DM me if you want. Happy to have a free call and review the situation. But there’s no way to blindly throw a number at this.

  2. Is the content static files or from a database?

Either way you want to get the content into a db to then import into WordPress.
