I manage a website for a professional organization where frequently someone, such as an office manager, purchases reservations to a professional event for several individuals. We need to have the names of all the attendees, not the office manager. I am looking for strategies to add these individuals to the order so that they show show up as attendees and that the event gets recorded to their user profile (currently only shows in manager's account).
What are you using to take the orders? Woocommerce? If you do some googling for “Woocommerce custom fields for orders” you should find something. Alternatively, use a proper events booking plugin like The Events Calendar and their ticketing add on.
