First I’d like to start by stating I am not a web developer in the slightest. I’m a network admin, but until now I’ve never had to manage a Webserver.
However, I’ve just been handed credentials to a wordpress site and been told to figure it out so… I guess I’m learning wordpress now.
That said, lets start with the very basic of the basics. How would I find out where my website is hosted? Like the Physical files for this site need to be stored on a web server somewhere. But I’m not seeing any information in the wordpress webconsole that gives me any semblance of a hint on where these files actually are!
Are they hosted in the cloud, are they on one of my physical servers some where? how do I break this down?
