I have a games site and I changed the Reading Settings a month ago. I forgot I had made this change and I lost 90% of the keywords on the SERP.
1- I had created a Games page and it as a Posts page in the A static page
2- I removed the Games page, I did not select a page for the Posts page. Hence the collapse of keywords from the SERP. I created a main category called Games and put the other categories as subcategories. I thought this solution improved the structure of the site.
3- Now I would have liked to put the Games category on the Posts page, as it would be both a blog and a main category. It seemed like a great idea, but it can’t be done.
What should I do? It’s likely that my lack of success depends on the Reading Settings, from what I’ve noticed.
I think the Your latest posts setting should be categorically excluded, as I cannot write text on the homepage and personalize it.
