Example: Client wants me to design and build a wordpress website for their business. They take care of hosting/domain and leave me to simply build the actual site to transfer over to them upon completion.
Is there a way for me to build the site entirely free of cost to myself and simply transfer the contents for them to then publish it on the internet?
If they don’t currently have a site and want to do their own hosting, then I build the site in their new hosting and use a coming soon plugin called “CMP”. The plugin allows admin users or users with a special code to view the site, but no-one else, inc google.
When you’re done building the site, you simply deactivate the plugin and you’re live.
If they already have an exisiting live site, I build it either on one of my servers or locally using Laragon.
