How do you guys conserve storage with WordPress?

I’ve recently started a music blog with WordPress for my concert photos, show reviews and music news. I’m on the free version so was only given 1GB media storage. To show the best quality for my photos, I export them from Lightroom at 80% quality. Now, I’m at 99% full.

Any tips? Really was trying to avoid getting on a subscription but will do if I have no choice. But then again still will be a limit on storage

  1. Don’t use [Wordpress.com]). It’s cripple-ware. Get some proper WordPress hosting where you won’t be restricted on things that the free, open source version of WP has like disk space, ability to install plugins, themes, upload whatever you like, etc, etc.
