I’m trying to remove *a ton* of spam comments from over the years. When I view my comments, there is a “Check for Spam” button I’ve clicked on. While it’s checking, there is a percentage indicator (0%, 1%, etc). It seems to freeze over time. Does this depend on my browser being open to run?
Related – is there any WP Akismet “Check for Spam” button documentation? I’ve googled but it’s hard to find information on what it’s doing. I assume it’s going through my Pending comments and only checking those for spam?
