If you are able to access your server. Then go and find wp-config.php file. Add following parameters.
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
Refresh your page. Then go to your wp-conten folder. And open up debug.log file. You should see from there, what causes this error?
How long is a bit of string? Thats the generic error not a specific one
999/100 insufficient resources aka too small server.

Tree fiddy.
But seriously, firstly, you should know what the error is and how to fix it, then what your rate would be x the time it takes.
This is such a generic error it could take 5 mins or 5 months.
Depends on the problem.. I’d say get access to their account and after that:
5 EUR because they are a nice client
65 EUR for knowing how to troubleshoot
After you’ve figured out the problem:
95 EUR multiplied by the amount of hours it would take you to fix it.
But then again, I’m just cheap 🙂 Don’t forget to mention the hourly rate they’ll pay after you figured out what’s wrong. And *don’t* include that in the initial price. So, 70 to figure it out, at least 95 following up.
This is an hourly charge – you have no idea what’s wrong until you enable wp_debug.
Though I have to ask, since you didn’t know that you had to enable debugging, how are you equipped to fix this issue? And the fact that you took a screenshot with a phone camera is a bit of a red flag.
I can fix that in about 5 minutes. Charge $100
Remove all your plugins to find which one is faulty.
Mostly people pay $25-30 on freelancing platforms for such fixings.
