How to add a “hreflang=” tag to a WordPress site?

[ad_1]

Hey guys,

I have this site, which is already in two languages. The language switches work perfectly fine as well. However, there's no "href" lang tag.

Is there a way to add this to an existing WordPress page? A plugin maybe. Could this be a problem that the page is already set in two languages?

  1. Yes, you can add `hreflang` tags to your existing WordPress site, even if it’s already set up in two languages. There are several plugins available that can help you manage `hreflang` tags easily. One popular option is the **WPML** plugin, which is great for multilingual sites and can automatically handle `hreflang` tags. Another option is **Yoast SEO**, which also supports `hreflang` tags through its premium version.

If you prefer to do it manually, you can add `hreflang` tags in the `<head>` section of your site’s HTML. Just make sure the tags correctly point to the alternative language versions of your pages.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Hi, you can definitely add `hreflang` tags to your existing WordPress site. There are plugins like **Yoast SEO** or **WPML** that make this super easy. Yoast lets you handle `hreflang` tags automatically if you’ve got multiple languages set up.

Having your page in two languages shouldn’t be a problem—it’s actually why you’d want to use `hreflang` tags, to help search engines understand the language versions. Just grab one of those plugins, set it up, and you’ll be good to go!
