How to change or remove display date of media/docs?

Hello. I have a document that I’ve uploaded to my media and is linked to on my site.

The URL of the link is: https://xxxxxxx.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/document.pdf

How can I change, or preferably, remove the date (2023/01) from the URL? Is there a way to customize the URL and name it anything I want?
