Hello! WordPress novice here, and I am at a bit of a wall as i’m designing a waitlist for my website, and am turning to this community for help!
1. I have simple waitlist landing page that uses Forminator to collect the first name and email address of customers
2. Once these customers pre register, they receive an email with a link which sends them to another form …so they have the option complete their full profile (location, phone etc)
3. By doing this, i’m effectively asking them to double register, so the system flags their new email adress as someone who is already signed up… so effectively it doesn’t work and they can’t submit their info
How to i remedy this? how can i connect the simple information i have gathered via the initial waitlist, and get them to add more information to their previous registration? How do i connect the email address they already gave me, with the ability to further advance their profile?

After their pre-registration, presumably they’re registered on your site. So they will need login before filling out the second form – which is described here: [https://wpmudev.com/blog/wordpress-login-and-registration-forms-forminator/])
Then, when they go to fill out the second form, you can prefill it with their saved details, making the process simpler for them.
