how to create a “builder” experience on wordpress

[ad_1]

hey guys,

so i have a project that requires to create about 200 websites before the end of the year, the easy part is that they are all informational sites and in the same domain.

so there is a dedicated sales team targeting the domain, and I plan to offer two templates, with sections variations.

the question is how to dumb down the creation of the sites and customization of the content so an avg non technical sales person can do it him self, as I plan to keep dev support as a level 2 task

Why do you need to create separate sites?

    >*200 websites*

    Smells like a spam farm.

  2. 200 sites ? They have 200 salespeople ? No matter how easy it might look, this is a big task

  3. Why does it need to be 200 separate sites? Why doesn’t each sales team have their own page, with unique contact information/form, separate login, etc? For example Coldwell Banker does this already with their realtors, and each of those realtor pages have unique forms and identifiers (granted, they aren’t using WP, but just using this as a reference – as the same thing can be accomplished within WP).

What you’re proposing to do, also means that you’re also dealing with 200 separate databases.

This just doesn’t make sense to me as to why you’d be doing this on the same domain, unless you can offer some more information.

  4. Gutenberg, make a custom CPT template with locked preset blocks and it’s very easy to create new pages.
