hello,
i am very new to wordpress and i have this project to move a website from Ning to WordPress. To get started I've been asked to create a WordPress website design and i don't really know what that is. Can someone help me out? Is it like just writing out the plan or sitemap on a google doc or installing the app and preparing wordpress for data migration? Thanks, any other advice for a beginner is much appreciated.

Creating a web design it’s clearly states its your building a whole new website from scratch or a template you need to clarify if your just migrating a site or you want to clone your project from Ning to WordPress
Hey, buddy! Don’t worry, everyone may feel a bit confused when they first get started with WordPress. Let me explain to you.
Creating a WordPress website design typically involves the following steps:
Migrating from Ning to WordPress does indeed require some technical work. You need:
Export Ning’s data
Build a WordPress environment using Servbay to ensure consistency in the data environment
Install WordPress on the server
Use import tools or plugins to import Ning’s content into WordPress
Adjust content format and structure
If you want to use tools, you can write a simple PHP script to process Ning’s data and import it into WordPress. If it is a front-end page, WordPress can customize the front-end code
