Hi, @buzzlyhan
To delete a WordPress theme, follow these steps:
- Activate a Different Theme: Switch to a different theme from “Appearance” > “Themes.”
- Backup Your Website: Create a backup using a plugin like UpdraftPlus.
- Navigate to Themes: Go to “Appearance” > “Themes.”
- Delete the Theme: Hover over the theme and click “Theme Details.” Then, click “Delete.”
- Confirm the Deletion: Click “OK” to confirm.
Remember to check your website after deleting to ensure everything is working as expected.
If you need further assistance or have questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you, @saadahsan
I’m sorry for any confusion. I’m not asking about deleting a theme, but rather how to delete an unnecessary HTML template in a theme I’m currently creating.
I’m sorry, @buzzlyhan. My bad. For theme development, I have no idea. Never done it before.
Have you check the official documentation?
It seems like there isn’t a function to delete templates. It appears to be implemented in version 6.3, so we’ll wait until August 8th. lol
Thank you again, @saadahsan.
