How to keep the menu on a single line?
Reduce the amount of text 😀
Do you really need all the text “Stipendium för eftergymnasiala studied” to describe one menu item? You could just strip it down to one word and save a lot of horizontal space.
I want it so that the pages of the menu that don’t fit go into a submenu to the right.
Go to APPEARANCE => MENUS and manage your menu however you like: edit the labels of individual menu items, organize menu hierarchy, etc.
For example on this site: https://sites.google.com/site/slaktforeningenleijonhufvud/nyheter , if you expand or reduce the size of the window of your browser, then as many menus that can fit will appear and the rest will be submenus under “More” . I want it to be like that on leijonhufvud.xyz
The design of your site, including the appearance and behaviour of your navigation menus, is controlled by your active theme, OceanWP in your case.
I’ll recommend you post in your OceanWP theme’s own support forum so the theme’s author can help you with this: https://projectdmc.org/support/theme/oceanwp/
Alternatively, you may use a 3rd-party menu management plugin that may offer this functionality. I don’t know any specific plugin that does this though, so you’ll have to do some digging on your own: https://projectdmc.org/plugins/search/responsive+menu/
Good luck!
