Hi guys! I’m a junior software dev and recently got an interview for a WordPress developer. The company is a publishing company. This will be my first interview in a while, and for a WordPress role. I’ve used WordPress before, but not super profieicent in it, and have more front-end experience. I’m very interested in this company and want to know what I can expect to be asked for a typical, junior role. They want the following:
* Experience in (1 year min) front end development and working with plug-ins for WP
* Familiarity with Elementor
* Angular and React experience as a bonus (I have 2-3 years of experience with this and a couple projects to show them)
* Create websites using CMS
* Set up hosting and SSL certification
* Vet plug-ins
In my last role, we used Cleanslate as our CMS system. I have a lot of experience with frontend development, but only made one website with WP. Is there anything I can do to prep for this role?
