How to use image alt text the correct way?

[ad_1]

Hey hey, today I’ve been researching about alt text.

My niche is food, so the images on my recipe posts are kinda repetitive.

Let’s say I’m posting a pad Thai recipe – I will include several photos of pad Thai, and images of step-by-step instructions.

I have no other option than including the keywords “pad Thai” in the photos of pad Thai (because there is no other way to describe pad Thai, right?) For example: pad Thai on a white dish with a wedge of lime / an overhead photo of pad Thai in a wok / me eating pad Thai with chopsticks while sitting on a wooden chair / etc.

In my step-by-step instructions, I will also include “pad Thai” where needed.

But today I stumbled upon a blog that said you should only use your keyword in ONE of the images in your blog post.

How would I use my keyword “pad Thai” only once in my pad Thai recipe post?

Is the blog that said I should only use the keyword once in the wrong, or should I get more creative and use “pad Thai” once, and then write “stir-fried noodles” “noodle stir-fry” etc?

Thanks!
