I added some commonly posted code to “unset” all auto-resized images so I can delete them all, but it doesn’t seem to be doing working. I don’t think I did it incorrectly…could my theme or a plugin prevent this from working?

This is at the bottom of my functions.php (in a child theme)

But I still have this nonsense going on (just wanted to make it easier to see the resized images.) I also circled something that might be part of/the cause of the problem, if anyone recognizes it.

I know what lazy loading is but I just mean specifically if there’s something new regarding lazy loading alt images that might cause this code to not work anymore.
Any ideas? Thank you

  1. This code prevents the images sizes from being created when a new image is uploaded, it doesn’t affect already uploaded images.
