EDIT: Okay, I got things fixed thankfully!
So my dad is having me update our church’s website but the problem is that the website is 16 years old and we can’t find any of the information for it on WordPress. The website was set up by an outside person who then gave my dad the info a few years later. We’ve logged into WordPress with the two emails it might’ve been made with and both show that the website isn’t there. The domain is hosted by GoDaddy and if I were able to, I would like the just transfer everything there but…. Again, we can’t figure out what the wordpress account is to do so. I am so sorry if this doesn’t make any sense but idk how to exactly explain it. I would greatly appreciate any advice or help. Thank you!

Ask godaddy support maybe
It could be hosted somewhere else and using WordPress as the cms.
Is it the domain only or the whole site hosted on GD?
Do you have access to the files or Database?
I’m in the same boat! Our church website is badly, badly out of date. No one can log in, we’ve tried resetting passwords and everything else. Ultimately I realized that the website – built over 20 years ago – was so out of date I really needed to build from scratch anyway, so that’s what I’m doing. I wish I had better advice for you.
Do you have access to the database?
WordPress is a software, not a place to log into.
You said the site is hosted on GD.
So you log into the website admin area at
YourDomain.com/wp-admin
You can access the server files inside your GD account.
