Hi i want to make a book store
I want there to be an author on each book page, and when you click on the author, it will go to the author’s own page and show his books. How can i make this with jet engine or acf . I working with this two plugins but i can’t figure how to do it
You can do this without either… but certainly with just ACF
Maybe:
Add each author as a user on your site. No login or anything, just a user. Create one post for each of this authors books, and set the author as post-author. Now you have archives of their books using just built in WP behaviour.
Or
Create a category per author – or a Tag for each author. Now you have archives of the author (cat archive or tag archive) with just WP behaviour.
Or
Add authors to the books (what are they, custom posts? Shop items?) – and create a custom function to list posts by author (ACF has tuts on site for this).
That’s 3 ways. There are others.
