Thanks for this. This is a great solution for the interim while I figure out what I’m going to do.
I’m just upset that 1 person could have such a massive impact on my work life for what is basically a tantrum. This does nothing but make me question whether I should continue to use WP or find a different CMS.
Has anybody tried just setting up a proxy server? I assume it is just a simple block of known WPE ip addresses, so if you spin up a proxy server on e.g. digital ocean and route all requests through it would that be enough?
Not necessarily ideal, but easy and cheap enough to work as a short term fix.
