Images not displaying on mobile

[ad_1]

I am trying to fix a website that my uncle (sadly) paid somebody to create. I have never used WordPress before but have gotten a general understanding of how it works just through trial and error and what I already know about web design. That being said, I have a couple things I just cannot figure out…

  1. The homepage has an photo gallery that displays on a desktop but never loads on mobile. There is also a carousel of products on the homepage and the images don't load for those either. In general I am concerned about slow site loading time and I have tried condensing the images so the files are smaller but nothing seems to work.

  2. There is a smart slider on the homepage and I have edited the buttons but they do not display the way that I edit them in smart slider. They display as a weird gradient that I do not want – I want them to be solid. I'm wondering if some theme or something is overriding the design I do in smart slider?

Like I said, somebody else created this site and I'm just trying to get it to appear presentable. I've been told by others that whoever created it made it more complicated than it needs fo be… sorry for being a newbie.

The site is themadrover.com

Thank you!!

The photo gallery doesn’t show on both desktop and mobile on my end: [https://i.imgur.com/nmoi6tG.png](https://i.imgur.com/nmoi6tG.png) . What plugin is being used here?

It’s being affected by this CSS: [https://imgur.com/sVXNq1y](https://imgur.com/sVXNq1y) . It’s using `!important` hence you couldn’t override it. Does your theme has an option to add custom CSS by any chance?

Also not sure if you’ve noticed this already but your site seems to show two headers: [https://imgur.com/iUJcygX](https://imgur.com/iUJcygX)

    Also I’m curious:

    * What theme is being used here?
    * How much did your uncle unfortunately spent for the website?
