Hi All
So I run a website for an organisation where its members also have their own websites. We are trying to get it set up so we can share posts from our main site into theirs.
I know I can use RSS reeds to do this but the basic one doesn’t import featured images which we want to be displayed. I’ve spent the better part of three hours looking at plugins that can do this but they all seem to have some form of limitation or pay wall.
I’ve tried:
* Feedzy RSS Feeds
* WP RSS Aggregator
and others from this article [https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-wordpress-rss-feed-plugins/])
All of these just seem to have too much.

Does anyone know of a simple plugin that will allow me to display featured images on the imported rss feed? Or do you know of a way that I can do this by editing my theme files (I use a child theme).

Thanks

I’ve used this plugin with success before: https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-images-for-rss-feeds/
I host a small fleet of regional MSM news sites that use [FeedWordPress](https://wordpress.org/plugins/feedwordpress/) to distribute news from a central source. It’ll do what you want, but it ain’t plug and play, it needs a bit of work to get right and keep right.
Just use Feedzy and the whatever RSS feed link you want. If there are featured images, it will retrieve them.

I was able to accomplish exactly what you want with The Grid and Essential Grid. They import rss feeds, but you are able to import the featured image and style how they are displayed. They are both premium plugins though.
