Hello,
I am just a noob here, besides my google and youtube based research just seeking some expert opinion. For last 2 years me and my friend have been teaching data science. So far the operations were based on facebook page and google classroom. We are planning to luanch our website. However, as we can not hire in house developer we are thinking of seeking for professional help. From my research I found that people custom build their website e.g. Static Site Generator, CMS, Web Framework, Web Server based on Next.Js and the programming language is Node.js.
As we do not have big budget and also not sure about how much maintenance cost it will be; is developing a website based on wordpress is a good idea? I was planning to buy a premium plugin from LearnPress/Thimpress and also custom builder Brics. Then hiring a developer to build the website for us.
Is it a good approach? Or should we delay have enough money and go for a full blown custom build website.

I’ve used bricks for all my recent builds I’ve done for clients and it’s a great solution. Offers some incredible amounts of customisation. Basically can do pretty much everything out of the box. Definitely recommend
