Noob here… looking to hire a freelancer to help us with our outdated WordPress site. I have spoken with a couple different freelancers, and I am just having trouble trusting some.
Fiverr is alright for small basic jobs. I wouldn’t recommend it for large jobs like the one you outlined… I’ve heard of fiverr workers manipulating your code to their benefit for scraping and data acquisition.
I recommend hiring a developer, or try building your own site from scratch using a page builder.

You will get a better understanding what is possible and the rates.
