Context: I’m using ACF and have a few users fields that I’m hiding on the default registration page with CSS. I’ve been learning WordPress almost everyday the past year + ChatGPT for coding assistance. I feel familiar with PHP, CSS, HTML and JS but by no means an expert.
If I have custom meta fields for users with ACF is it possible to create my own registration/sign-in form and filter out those meta fields? Right now I have to hide every single one with CSS and it just seems counter-intuitive.
Is a front-end registration/sign-in easy to build? Or better left off with a plugin?

I’ve just done this with forminator and had no issues.
I have the pro version, no idea if free one works.
