Is it possible to download all the posts and pages from a site without mark-up?

Is it possible to, some way, save all of the text from a WordPress site? I'm not talking about a site back up. A SQL Dump captures the text but it's jam-packed with HTML tags and other bits of code. Is there any way to just get the text, or mostly text?
