Hi folks!
I think my developer is not totally honest.
I have outsourced some maintainance tasks to a person who lives in country A.
I somewhat have the feeling that the person is not doing the task himself. So I checked the web-stats and can see that there are many IPs (always the same) from country B.
Now, I want to finish the current task to avoid issues if I would ask him straight out.
1. Is there a way to track the IP of only those who actually logon to wordpress backend?
2. And: Can it be done in secret? I might install a plugin in wordpress – but he will see that right away.
3. I am running on PLESK Obisidian and have full access to the server. I could install an app on the server but I haven’t found a useful app which tracks the IP eg. for a specific URL. In this case the WP login URL.
What would you do? Is there another way to figure out who is actually doing the work on my website?
Cheers,
Ironhand
