I noticed more and more wp websites are turning to block themes including the official WordPress site like WP Job Manager. I’m wondering will classic theme deprecated? I’m asking because I’m coding on classic theme, should I stop working on classic theme and start working on block theme?

It’s a good question. I personally have found the more complexity I need the more things like ACF can’t handle it without making the backend a mess.
It’s a huge learning curve because the blocks are built in React, but it’s something I will be learning to do, it’s far far faster and live preview is amazing.
I have been using classic theme for years but I will be trying to get away from it ASAP.
I don’t think you could update though knowing it would destroy your site, so classic will always have to exist unless they go to WP version 2.0
