Is there a good plugin to make hero image sliders with text overlay? I want to use a hero image slider to promote some deals and features on the home page but I’m not happy with any of the plugins I’ve tried. Smart Slider 3 has been my go-to for a while: https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-slider-3/ It’s worth the price if you need any advanced features but the free version should do what you need.
