Things were going smoothly Until jetpack stopped it’s free service and now I can’t even see the stats, and Google analytics is a mess… ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I’m confused and can’t see my website stats… Searched everywhere in Google and yt, but didn’t find any plugin that could fetch traffic stats as swiftly and easily as jetpack… I can’t afford the jetpack premium… What should I do? 😓 Site kit isn’t helping, mongsterinsights requires premium version to begin with…

Google Analytics
Site Kit. Sets everything up for you with google analytics and has some good features. Just need a google account.

You don’t need sitekit.. just use monsterinsight instead of both..
IMHO, you don’t need a plug-in for Google Analytics. I have my GA code in my functions.php file. Plug-ins, including Monster Insights, slow the site down. All you really need is the code snippet. You can either put it in your functions file (child theme, please), or you can use a code plugin that will put it in there for you.
With that said, there is one thing that Jetpack does that other analytics do not – on a particular post or page with years of stats. It’s one of the ways I determine whether a post is worth saving or redoing. If it had good traffic in the past, then it can be tweaked and get traffic again.
