I’m looking into the Pre-Order Plugin and would like to know if this is possible before I purchase it.
I want the ability to set a minimum number of pre-orders that are required before the payment is taken.
To explain things, say my product is a printed t-shirt and due to minimum order quantities with the printer I would need to print 100 of them for it to be financially viable however I don’t want to run the risk of having 90 tshirts that I can’t sell so instead I’d like to be able to put the design up for pre-order ( maybe with variations like colour ) and have a minimum number required for each variation to be set to 100.
Then when any of the variations get the 100 preorders, money is then taken for the pre-orders automatically so I can then start manufacturing and then shipping the products out when ready ( however the actual product isn’t a t-shirt and lead time from money being taken to product actually being ready to ship could be months so that might also complicate things ).
In the demo I have set up some variations on a product, enabled pre-orders ( with no end date ) and set managed stock and put some stock numbers in and this all looks like it’ll provide the functionality I need, but just wanted to confirm.
