I’m pretty new at this, so I would appreciate some assistance. I did a backup with UpdraftPlus right before I started working. Ended up having to use it a short time later. When I did, one or two things were different. I was scared all my friend’s recent posts were deleted, but I see several posts that were done after the backup BEFORE the one I used. So I think I am safe there. What’s different is the menu, a very minor issue, I know. I’m thinking a plugin conflicted. (I didn’t disable them first, bad practice, I know.

Restoring a backup should create an exact copy of what you had at the time. If you’re seeing data that wasn’t then when the backup was made, then you didn’t restore the database.
