I’m experiencing a problem with the “country-phone-field-contact-form-7” plugin in conjunction with CF7 on my WordPress site, which uses the Astra theme. The plugin is intended to automatically fill in the country name, flag, and phone code based on the visitor’s IP address. However, I’m facing an issue where the country details momentarily appear and then vanish, requiring manual interaction to display again.
Background:
- My website is built with the Astra theme and uses Contact Form 7 for form management.
- I integrated the “country-phone-field-contact-form-7” plugin to autofill the country details in CF7 forms.
- The expected behavior is that the form should automatically display the visitor’s country flag, name, and phone code upon page load, without any need for manual input or selection.
Issue:
- When a visitor accesses the form, the country details (flag and name) based on their IP appear briefly but then disappear.
- To get these details filled again, the visitor has to click the form field manually.
- I am looking for a solution where the country details are permanently displayed upon form load, without any further action required by the visitor.
I have ensured that the plugin is up-to-date. There seem to be no conflicts with other plugins, and no apparent JavaScript errors are detected.
Could you please provide guidance or a solution to ensure that the country details remain visible in the form as soon as it is loaded?
