Issues with PowerPoint files

I’m having the following issues with PowerPoint files on my WordPress site. I tried uploading the files to WordPress, but keep getting an HTTP Error. I know the files are under the file size allowed by WordPress. Because I had trouble uploading through WordPress, I just uploaded the files to the server, but when I click the link that point to the files, I get an error that says “file.pptx can’t be downloaded securely.” Any help is appreciated.

  1. Powerpoint is not a supported web format.

    If you must share an unspported file format, compress the file in a zip folder and then upload it.
