I’ve been slowly implementing every kind of performance optimization to my website but I just can’t get my Speed Index right, what to do?

  1. I’ve never been a big fan of the Google tool for pagespeed. Particularly where they limit the mobile testing to 1.5 megabit no matter what – but I digress.

    I like GTMetrix quite a bit more and I hope this report helps you:

    From looking at your site and this GTMetrix report I think you’re more limited by the client-side due to how much content you’re sending than anything else.

    In that GTMetrix test as well this looks to have taken the longest:

    A little unusual though – I see that come back to me in ~100ms.
