Hey! I’m building a job board on WP and would appreciate your thoughts!
The goal is to build a plugin-based job board that:
1. Requires a login to view any content beyond the front page (front page to be login screen, while the job board content will be hidden behind login)
2. Offers a candidate login option (each candidate to be assigned their own credentials)
3. Offers an employer login (each employer to be assigned their own credentials)
4. Allows employer accounts to post job openings and vet applicants
5. Allows candidates to apply for job openings, upload resumes and maintain their profile.
6. Allows me and/or employers to post training opportunities.
Currently I’m thinking BuddyBoss (plugin + theme) + WP Job Manager.
BB providing:
– the login/account creation ability
– allowing me to assign account-level privileges (candidates vs employers)
– allowing me to develop some kind of training group/portal.
WBJM providing:
– job posting
– job application
– asset (resume/cover letter) upload functionality
